Your first visit
A client to download.
A world to enter.
Create one MutSea account, then use it on the web and in the Finalverse Mac preview. Limited preview registration prepares a starter avatar and home before login.
1. Install the preview
Download the latest Mac DMG from GitHub, verify its checksum, then drag Finalverse Preview into Applications, eject the image and open the installed app. Preview.3 includes the earlier settings_files.xml startup fix and connects Sign up to real MutSea registration. The package is not notarized. The repository guide documents the signing limitation, requirements and troubleshooting.
2. Create your world account
Choose a first and last avatar name, a starter character and a password. Wait for “Account ready” while MutSea provisions your outfit, inventory and home. Registration pauses automatically if the world is unavailable or preview capacity is full. Downloading alone does not create an account.
Save recovery codes from your account page. Email is optional and unverified; email password reset is not available. Never use an account shown in demos.
3. Choose the intended world
Select Finalverse Harbor (Preview), endpoint https://grid.mutsea.com/. Enter your First Last avatar name with a space and the password you chose. An avatar UUID or email address is not a viewer login name. Check the selected grid before entering credentials: Second Life accounts are separate.
In preview.2, press ⌘⇧G if the grid selector is hidden. Its inherited Sign up button may open Second Life; use the account link above to register with MutSea. Preview.3 keeps the picker visible and opens MutSea signup and recovery directly.
4. Explore, then make something
Move with the arrow keys. Explore opens camera and map tools; Friends and Me lead to social controls, outfits and inventory. In an AI-enabled world, start with “What objects are around me?” Then try a bounded request such as “Create a small blue box four meters to my right.”
Read the proposal before Apply. The world checks placement and permissions. History records what happened; supported Undo reverses the recorded operation when its objects still match.
5. Build with Lumi, where authorized
Use Talk to Lumi and ask for a small quiet reading nook. Review the plan, choose Build together, then inspect the result or Undo creation. Hosted services handle inference; no local AI gateway or cloud API key is required. Lumi's current controller permissions are explicit, not granted to every account.
